LP #52: Paboritong Litrato (Favorite Photo)
Tomorrow, April 3rd, Litratong Pinoy celebrates its first anniversary. I can still remember when the creator of Litratong Pinoy (let’s call her LPC) first brought up to me, the idea of coming up with a photo meme for Filipino photo enthusiasts. I have to say, I loved the idea since the very start. There are already a number of weekly photo memes on the worldwide web but there is that one little detail that sets Litratong Pinoy apart from the others, the one that makes all the difference. And if you’re one of the few who has been visiting this blog for the past year or so, you’ll know what that is. Litratong Pinoy entries are written in Filipino.
So why am I writing my entry in English? I am doing so because in celebration of LP’s 1st anniversary, a guest professional photographer will do the main post at LP’s home site. But worry not, I will write the appropriate Filipino translation at the end of this post. ;)
LP has come a long way since it’s very first theme, “Bilog” (Circle/Round). For the greater part of LP’s first year, I was just using a “regular” point & shoot digital camera. Then I moved on to a full featured P&S some time in December. When I shall make another camera upgrade is the big question. But whatever camera I use, taking photos for LP has always been and will always be a lot of fun, not to mention interesting.

(Bukas, ika-3 ng Abril 2009, ay magdiriwang ng unang taong anibersaryo ang Litratong Pinoy. Tandang-tanda ko pa nang hingin ni LPC (Litratong Pinoy Creator) ang aking opinyon tungkol sa pagbuo ng photo meme para sa mga Pinoy na mahilig kumuha ng litrato. Umpisa pa lamang ay nagustuhan ko na ang ideya. Marami nang photo memeng kumalat sa wordwide web ngunit may isang maliit na detalyeng talaga namang nakapagpaiba sa Litratong Pinoy. At iyo’y ang pagsulat ng mga lahok sa wikang Filipino.
Sa pagdiriwang ng unang anibersaryo ng Litratong Pinoy, mayroong panauhing propesyonal na litratistang siyang magbabahagi ng mga pangunahing litrato sa home page ng LP. Kaya isinulat ko ang unang bahagi ng aking lathala sa Tagalog. Baka sakaling dumalaw dito ang panauhing litratista. :D
Malayo na ang narating ng LP simula ng unang tema nito, “Bilog”. Alam kong patuloy akong mageenjoy sa pagkuha ng litrato para sa LP.

LP’s anniversary theme is “Paboritong Litrato” (Favorite Photo). I always have a difficult time choosing a favorite photo. That is also why I always post more than one photo in my LP entries. Another thing is that any photo with Abby in it automatically becomes a favorite.
So for this week, I’ve decided to limit my photo choices to our recent trip to Dallas. Here are my favorite photos taken on March 21st at Texas’ most glorious garden, the Dallas Arboretum, starring my favorite model, of course! :D
(Ang pang-anibersaryong tema ng Litratong Pinoy at “Paboritong Litrato”. Noon pa ma’y hirap na akong pumili ng litrato kaya naman laging higit sa isa ang mga litratong ipinopost ko sa aking mga lahok para sa LP. Isa pa, basta nasa litrato ang aking anak, paborito ko na agad ang litratong iyon.
Para sa linggong ito, pinili ko ang aking mga paboritong litrato mula sa aming pagpasyal sa pinakamagandang hardin dito sa Texas, ang Dallas Arboretum. Siyempre, bida sa mga litrato ang aking paboritong modelo.)
I took more than 300 photos at the Dallas Arboretum, most of which were of the flowers. You shall see them in LP’s “Hardin” theme, two weeks from today. ;)
(Mahigit tatlong daang litrato ang kinuha ko sa Dallas Arboretum, karamihan ay litrato ng mga bulaklak. Ibabahagi ko na lamang ang mga litratong ito sa muli nating pagkikita sa LP para sa temang “Hardin”.)

your DD is definitely a model material, habang lumalaki,lalong gumaganda, yung una kong model, nagsawa na sa pictorial mas hilig na nya na sya ang kukuha ng litrato, pero yung bunso ko naman,addict sa photo opt!

Dapat pala akong mag pasalamat sa iyo, munchkin mommy kasi isa nag LP sa naging inspirasyon ko para pag butihin ang aking pag kuha ng litrato…ako eh tuwang tuwa everytime maganda ang aking nakukuha :-)
