In 2007, I joined Blue Panjeet’s 1st Christmas Tree Blog Parade. You can find my entry here. It’s almost round-up day for Christmas Tree Blog Parade 2008 and I still haven’t posted my entry. My apologies, Blue P, for the very late posting. I have been quite delinquent in all things Christmas-related.
I used the very same Walmart-bought tree we got last year, the same angel tree topperand the same gold and red decorations. Red and gold are my favorite holiday colors, primarily because they signify prosperity. ;) There are additions I made, however, which turned our Christmas tree into a “Prosperity Tree”.
This is our tree with the room lights on…

And here’s how our tree looks with all the room lights off…

Here’s a close-up. Keep your eyes open for the yummy tree trimmings! ;)

I used chocolates as additional tree trimmings. I would have used round fruits as well but that’s just not too practical if you ask me. :D

The chocolate selection includes, Milky Way, 3 Musketeers, Twix and M&Ms. I used the mini chocolates. I’ll probably use bigger chocolates next year for added visual impact. ;)

And for a unique prosperity garland, I used play money. It took me a while to glue them all together but it was well worth all the trouble. :D

And that’s it for our tree and my entry for the 2008 Christmas Tree Blog Parade. :D Cheers!
