Bracelets by Abby
I just love it when I pick Abby up from school and she hands me something that she made… drawings, handwriting practice sheets, paper cuttings (they practice using scissors!), etc. My most recent favorite, however, are these bracelets…
Aren’t they a thing of beauty? Abby said one’s for me (yellow), one’s for her dad, and one’s for her favorite kuya, Kuya Jad. When I asked if I can keep all of the bracelets for myself instead, she said, “You have to share, Mom!” Hmp!
Focus on the bracelets, please, not on my hairy arm. :D

Hi Chung! Thanks! Oo, nasa montessori pa rin si Abby. It’s her 2nd year with the school. Nakakatuwa ang montessori method kasi bukod sa academics, natetrain ang mga kids pati sa practical side of life. ;) TC!

Hi Gracie! Katuwa ano? Malapit na akong bumili ng mga beads para kahit dito sa bahay, makagawa si Abby ng mga abubot. Hee hee. Magbabawas-bawas muna ako ng mga dati pa niyang abubot. :D

hi weng, congrats on the new site! it’s been a while since i visited, sowee :) the bracelets are really nice. before i used to think they were corny. but now that i have a kid too, i realized anything from your kid is a treasure, kahit pagtawag niya ng “mommy” when she’s just learned her first few words. :)

they’re pretty!
my daughter made bracelets last June too. She bought them home on the last day of school. One for me, one for her dad and one for her brother, and of course she also made one for herself.
