Back-to-School
Hello y’all! I hope you had a fantastic weekend. I finished reading my new book, earning myself some blogging time today. ;)
Summer break has officially ended for Abby. And me, too! Today’s Abby’s first day back in school. Most schools here will start classes on the 3rd week of this month. Abby’s still going to the same school and is now in pre-K! Woohoo!
In preparation for her return to school, we brought Abby to her favorite salon for a haircut two weeks ago, even though Hubby would very much prefer we keep Abby’s tresses long. :P Yeah, I liked Abby’s hair, too, the longest she’s had it ever. But it’s just too hot and I don’t really know a lot of hairstyling tricks. I desperately need to learn how to braid! And ever since I had my hair cut, Abby wanted to have her hair cut, too. So that’s two-to-one. Sorry na lang kay asawa. :D If there’s one thing we agreed on, it’s NO BANGS. I didn’t take Abby’s side this time. Hee hee!
Buh-bye several inches of hair!
Almost done! Abby started getting fidgety towards the end of her haircut session.
Tadah! She looks healthier, doesn’t she? And her hair is so much easier to manage now. Yey me! :D

The salon, Snip-its, has its own cartoon characters/mascots, of which two are called The Clipette Sisters…
They even sell dolls, which Hubby thinks look a bit bastos hilarious…
You have to admit, it kinda does. Eeeew!
Abby’s first day was a breeze, not that I was expecting a repeat of last year’s first day jitters. She had a very good day and her teachers said she was very helpful with the new kids. I couldn’t resist not taking pictures this morning. So humor me…
New lunch bag. :) I’m glad she picked Minnie over the Disney Princesses. I guess that’s what Disneyland does. Hee hee!
Abby was in a good mood this morning, having completed a full 10-hours of sleep. :D
I’m pleased with how I fixed her hair. She was, too…and that’s all that matters! Hee hee!

Gosh how she’s grown!
I was excited to get to Abby’s school because I would finally be able to get my hands on her Spring Portrait. It was taken in Abby’s school a few weeks before summer break.
*Sigh* What did I ever do to deserve such a dazzlingly beautiful daughter? Thank you, God! :)

ako nga rin eh. everytime i look at caitlin, parang ang laki-laki na nya. eh parang kelan lang, pinaghehele ko pa sya :)

Hi Cez! They grow up so fast it’s not even funny! :D Nakakamukhang healthy talaga ang short hair. Pero nagpagupit pa rin ako kasi sobrang init. Hee hee. Saka healthy naman talaga ako kaya di bale na! :P

Hi Abby! Mas mukhang baby pa talaga si Abby last year. Mabuti at nagcooperate sa picture taking. Konting threats lang naman ang nangyari. ;) Hahaha! :D

uuy na-excite naman ako sa aking, eheste, aming first day of school in a few weeks! i’m sure pati ako magpi-pictorial galore din when the time comes, hehe.
galing niyo ni abby ha, para kayong katie holmes and suri cruise na terno ang gupit, hehe! i love her hair!
at syempre, i too love her spring portrait. she’s really so lovely! ako nga hindi niya nanay pero super proud ako of her, ikaw pa kaya? hehehe!

Hi Mee! Katie and Suri ka diyan! Hahaha! Kung mas maigsi pa siguro ang hair ko. Natatakot kasi yung hairstylist na igsian. Hmp. :D

my oh my! ang bilis talaga ng panahon! parang kelan lang potty training before school starts tapos ngayon she’s onto her 2nd year at school. and she’s grown really prettier & healthier indeed! love that spring photo pic!

Hi Odette! Children really grow so fast. A lot of times, I just catch myself looking at Abby. *sigh* And as for you wanting a baby now, well, I don’t have to tell you what to do. All I can say is have fun! Hee hee! ;)
