Three Cheers for Thirty-Three!
Today, the 10th of July, is my birthday. ;) Hubby, Abby and I are holed up in a hotel in Irving, Texas (parang Dallas na rin because it’s right next to Dallas. Hee hee!). It’s not a vacation really, at least not for hubby. He has to be here for a meeting and he brought Abby and me along so he won’t feel guilty about being away on my birthday. Works for Abby and me, I tell you! We are hotel junkies! Nyahaha! ;)
It’s my second Texas birthday and I can rightfully declare that I did more growing up in the last year alone than in all my previous birthdays combined. Hee hee! I think I aged more, too. Hu hu hu! :P (I’m starting to sound like Sisa with my “hee hees and hu hu hus” Kaloka!) That’s the not so sheltered SAHMmy life for you. I don’t mind one bit, though. Promise. :)
I am overflowing with feelings of gratitude and joy for the avalanche of blessings that God so generously bestow upon me and my loved ones day after day after day. He has always been good to us. Everyday, He gives us reasons to believe more and to have more faith. We can always count on God and His mysterious ways. He continues to fill our lives with surprises…most of them we readily receive and accept, while some, admittedly, we want to just return and exchange, if at all possible. :) We’re smart enough to know though, that it doesn’t work that way. So for things that take a little more time to understand, we simply let God do all the work. Because we know for sure that things will always work out for the best. And that’s what makes life one heck of a heavenly exciting ride. ;) Thank you, God!
If there is only one wish that I could make today, it is that God make everything right for all of us…you, me and the people we love. That’s my personal giveaway for all of you today. :D I did say I’ve grown up, didn’t I? I’ll just make other wishes tomorrow. Hee hee.

and a glass of iced tea (bottomless!). :)
I would open presents now if Photobucket didn’t choose this very minute to do site maintenance. I’ll keep the presents wrapped for now. Hee hee. ;)
